July 30, 2024 How much lower can NVIDIA go?  Well, like any other stock, the most NVIDIA "can" go down is 100%. That is possible, yet highly unlikely. We think that this summer NVIDIA will go down to $100 per share for a market capitalization of about $2.2T. In about a year, NVIDIA should be trading anywhere from $50 to $75 a share.  How much higher can NVIDIA stock go?  Well, theoretically, there is no limit to appreciation. At its peak in June 2024, NVIDIA had return almost 300,000% from its initial public offering in 1999. Of course, most of that was led by the AI boom / bubble. In theory, NVIDIA could continue rising forever. That is possible, yet extremely unlikely. So what is the sweet spot for NVIDIA between a possibility of evaporating to 0% of its current value to appreciating to infinity.  What is the true value of NVIDIA? No one knows. Economic value is an opinion. Market value is the opinion formed between buyers and sellers. Money itself is a derivative opinion.

July 24, 2024 Today was a profitable day for short sellers like Creatix. As you all know, we had been shorting NVIDIA for months. We exited the position today, netting a 5% return. It is not much and we would have made significantly more buying the NVIDIA than shorting it. There were times when we were down by 40% on our short. We kept shorting every time NVIDIA hit another AI-bubble high. Today, NVIDIA had a bad day, which was a good day for us. Taking a 5% profit seemed prudent and acceptable to us. We'll see what happens in the next couple of days and we will let you know if we are back shorting NVIDIA.  Tesla also got a beating today. Nonetheless, it's a fun mental exercise to study the past and present to try to predict the future. The art and science of predicting the future entails making algorithmic models based on all known constants and estimated variables. Based on the study of past and present causality (cause and effect), we can make educated guesses about the future. As with anything else in life, the more you practice, the better you may get at the game of predicting the future. July 22, 2024 Wall Street endorsed Kamala Harris today with a whooping 1.10% increase in one day using the Wilshire 5000 as the benchmark. July 17, 2024 Will the stock market do better under Trump than under Biden? No one knows. Biden's first term in office is not over yet. The future has not been created yet.  Was the stock market better under Trump than under Obama? It depends on how you look at it. If compared based on Inauguration Day for four years, the stock market performed 2% better under Obama. From the respective Inauguration Day to the next, the S&P 500 returned 69% under Obama's first term, and 67% under Trump's first term. If compared based on average annual return, the stock market performed 2% better under Trump than under Obama.
