Kamala Devi Harris is the Vice President of the United States, and the prospective Democratic party nominee to the upcoming November, 2024 U.S. presidential elections. If enough independent and undecided voters in the key battleground states (e.g. Georgia, Arizona, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin) vote for Kamala Harris, she will become the 47th President of the United States (POTUS). 

Our Nation is ready for a woman to be POTUS. It's about time. After 235 years since George Washington became our first President, and after 46 male presidents in our history, it's time for a woman to become POTUS. 

How is the name Kamala pronounced?

Kamala is pronounced Kahm-uh-luh. Think about Pamela. Pronounce it Kam-a-la as you would pronounce Pam-e-la in English. 

Is Kamala an Indian name? 

Yes, Kamala is an Indian Hindi name. The name Kamala refers to the religious image of the Hindu goddess Lakshmi sitting on a lotus flower (a kamal). Lakshmi is the Hindu goddess of fertility and female energy. Kamala's middle name is Devi, which is also Indian and means goddess in Hindi. 

Why does Vice President Harris has an Indian name? 

Hint: The mother of VP Harris, Ms. Shyamala Gopalan Harris, was from southeast India. Ms. Shyamala came to the United States in 1958 to study at University of California, Berkeley. She earned a PhD in nutrition and endocrinology in 1964. She worked as a researcher and scientist at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. Ms. Gopalan passed away in 2009 at the age of 70. 

If Kamala is Indian, why does she identify as black? 

VP Harris is half Indian and half Jamaican. Her father is Donald J. Harris (not to be confused with the other "Donald J."), a Stanford University emeritus (retired) professor of economics. Donald J. Harris was born in Browns Town, Jamaica, and is 85 years old (only 7 years senior to the other Donald J). 

Is VP Harris an American?

Yes. VP Harris is half Indian, half Jamaican, and 100% American. VP Harris was born and raised in Oakland, California, near San Francisco and part of the Greater Silicon Valley in the context of technology companies. At age 12, VP Harris moved to Montreal in Quebec, Canada to live with younger sister, Maya Harris, and her mother after her parents divorced. VP Harris went to Westmount High School in Westmount, an affluent Montreal suburb south of downtown Montreal. Yes, VP Harris is totally fluent in French. 

Is VP Harris a liberal?

Yes, VP Harris is a liberal who can help liberate the United States from the mental shackles of racism. Kamala, pronounced in English Kahm-uh-luh (not Ka-MEH-Luh as Donald J. Trump pronounces in bad Spanish), is America's hope to defeat racism again. Barack Obama was the first black man elected POTUS. That was a significant accomplishment for the country in advancing political equality and ending racism. In 2016, the United States relapsed into racism by electing for POTUS the most racist (and sexist) candidate in modern history, Donald J. Trump. In 2020, the United States defeated Trump and the racist MAGA movement. The political cancer of racism is trying to stage a come back under Trump and his coalition of confederates, rednecks, and hillbillies. Kamala is the best anti-racism candidate possible to stop the spread of the MAGA cancer again. Kamala can bring together an All-American coalition to defeat Trump and MAGA again.

Kamala, Make Assholes Lose Again (MALA)

Any Democrat President: expensive. MAGA assholes losing to a liberal woman of kolor: priceless 

Four years of Kamala as President will be 4 years for Trump to get older and weaker. Trump will be 82 years old for the 2028 elections. He would of course still beat the not-white-enough losers of always (DeSantis, Rubio, Cruz, etc) and keep owning the Republican party, but his sexism and racism would hopefully be weaker.

It all depends on a few independent and undecided voters in key battleground states. If this swing voters join the Kamala Koalition against the Ku Klux Klan, we can keep American democracy running for at least 4 more years. Look how Biden listened to the people and stepped out of the race. Isn't that the most democratic (as in pro democracy) move ever in our history? Do you think that Donald J. Trump would have done the same, or do you think that Trump would have tried to grab power until death like a dictator?
