Is AI a money-making virus?

April 4, 2024

Artificial intelligence (AI) is already helping humans make money and have fun. From crazy rich Wall Street valuations to social media live streaming of "poor" street food vendors, AI is already a money-making virus worldwide. The "investing" craze in the AI bubble spreads virally. Popular social media content pushed or suggested by AI spreads virally.

In this article, a "rapid fire" of Creatix ideas, concepts, and observations.

For the Love of Money

Most humans love money. Humans enjoy having and earning as much money as possible. This makes sense. Money is one of the top human inventions of all times. Money facilitates trade and incentivizes collaboration.

Top Three Inventions of All Times

Language, God, and money as the top three human inventions of all times.

Language is the most foundational human invention of all. It allows for the creation and communication of artificial meaning. Without meaning and communication there would not be civilization. Without language, humans would be just another animal rather than the semi god who developed superior intelligence to conquer the world.

God is the most divine human invention of all. Language and the creation and communication of meaning allowed humans to create imaginary concepts such supernatural forces. These concepts led to the invention of supernatural gods and spirits supposedly in charge of humans and the rest of nature. Some of these forces were later refined and defined as perfectly divine. These artificial rulers of the universe were used by clever humans to rule less clever humans. In many regions, the gods were further consolidated into one and only god conveniently named God. Believing in divine forces, spirits, gods, or the God, allows humans to transcend the biological limitations of the human condition. Thanks to God, humans see themselves as superior creatures that should exist ethically and withstand the pains and sufferings of life in return for a better afterlife.

Money is the most convenient invention to facilitate trade and collaboration. Money allows humans to leverage another invention, the numeric system, to assess the economic value of products and services. Intersubjective agreements regarding economic valuation allow humans to trade and incentivize humans to collaborate for money that can be used for trade. Trading products and services help humans avoid pain and seek pleasure, which is how humans survive and thrive.

Pain and Pleasure

Humans, like all other animals, on planet Earth are genetically programmed to do one thing and only one thing: to seek pain relief (PR). Life is painful. As soon as animals take a breath, pain forces them to take the next. Humans seek pain relief (PR) by avoiding situations perceived as painful and seeking outcomes perceived as pleasant. This binary approach of avoiding pain and seeking pleasure explains everything--absolutely everything--about how humans and all other organic animals behave on planet Earth.

The Free Will Illusion

Humans believe that they have agency or free will that allows them to make making choices. However, the choices are controlled by perception of convenience (POC). Humans, and all other animals, always--absolutely always--choose whatever optional course of action is deemed more convenient. What each animal or human may consider more convenient may vary, but the "gravitational slide" of convenience will always prevail.

It is not easy to predict exactly what animals, including humans, may be aware of in a particular situation and what they will consider more convenient. However, it is 100% predictable that the animal will only fall for the alternative that it is aware of and that it considers more convenient consciously or unconsciously.

Money-Making AI

AI is computerized human-like intelligence. Money is a number. Numbers are infinite. Money is an infinity-based valuation technology (tool and method) to numerically account for the economic valuation of assets, products, and services.

AI is already increasing valuation of certain assets and facilitating the creation of value in the economy. Examples abound and are not limited to the valuation of AI-related assets. Besides the AI bubble in Wall Street pushing the market capitalization of companies like NVIDIA to completely irrational and unreasonable levels, AI is also helping all sorts of entrepreneurs grow their smaller businesses.

AI Money in Social Media

An example is social media. Intelligence is all about tracking data, finding correlations, and making predictions. AI tracks social media data (both content categories and user preferences). AI finds correlations between content categories and user preferences. AI makes predictions about what content users may prefer, and make corresponding predictions in the form of user recommendations.

AI-powered user recommendations are the classic "people who liked this, also liked this" model. These suggestions helps both producers and consumers. These AI suggestions help viewers find content relevant to their preferences, and help content creators expand their audiences.

AI-powered Social Media is the new TV

1. The "ABCs" of the TV industry.

  • TV producers are "attention business creators" (ABCs).
2. Advertising for "ASS".
  • TV networks make money by drawing attention and selling portions of that attention as advertising space. Marketers buy TV advertising space to place ads. Ads are used for awareness - support - sales (ASS). That is, ads are used to create awareness, gather support, or promote sales. Ads are meant to create awareness of brands, causes, products or services. Ads are meant to generate support for those brands, causes, products, or services. Ads are meant to promote sales of those brands, causes, products, or services.
3. Social Media ABCs for ASS.
  • Social media is the new TV. Anyone with a smartphone and internet connectivity can become a TV star or TV producer of many stars. For example, all over the world, social media content creators are beginning their own social media channels with entertaining content, including live streams generating million or billions in ads, donations, and sales.  In Bangkok for example, companies make social media channels for all sort of "poor" human entertainers such as female street food vendors to gather attention, sell ad space, collect donations, and promote sales. Some of these former "poor" vendors are already rich receiving thousands of dollars in daily donations from suckers and supporters in the "first" world.

Artificial intelligence (AI) is already helping humans make money left and right worldwide. From Wall Street valuations defying gravity to social media suggestions gravitating content for more views, lucrative ads, donations, and sales, AI is already proving to be a viral money-maker in human society. AI promises to become one of the greatest human inventions of all times. Don't miss out. Stay tuned just in case.

When will the Tesla bubble burst?

December 11, 2024 When will the Tesla bubble burst?  We don't know Fools rush in. It's impossible to know exactly when the Tesla bubble will finally burst. Unfortunately for us at Creatix, we began shorting Tesla too soon. We are down almost 40% on our position as of today. We are not fooling ourselves thinking that we were ever make money on the short position. We truly doubt that Tesla can go down 40% any time soon.  We would love to add to the short position, but it would exceed our $3,000 limit on the stupid bets that we do for fun. We're not Mr. Beast. We have a very limited budget for ridiculousness. We would love to short Tesla tomorrow morning at the ridiculous share price of $424. Tesla is trading at an incredible 116 times earnings, which gives Tesla a market capitalization of $1.32 Trillion. Elon Musk added today $13.4 billion to his fortune. Yes, $13 billion in one day. Yesterday, he had added $11 billion. Yes, that's $24 billion in 2 days.  Six months ago, ...

Will prices go up or down during the Second Coming of Trump?

December 12, 2024 Will prices go up or down during the Second Coming of Trump? President-elect Donald Trump has acknowledged the difficulty of reducing grocery prices, stating, "It's hard to bring things down once they're up."  Lower Energy Costs and Better Logistics Trump hopes that lower energy costs and improved supply chains may prevent significant price increases on food. However, many economists believe that Trump's tariffs on foreign countries and massive deportation of illegal immigrants, which include millions of undocumented farm workers, will increase food prices.  Additionally, while Trump emphasizes the role that potentially lower energy prices may have in food costs, experts note that energy constitutes a relatively small portion of food production expenses. Energy prices may also increase despite experts forecasting that they will stay relatively low or go further down. After all, economists and financial experts are wrong often, almost all of the t...

Is there a Tesla bubble?

December 10, 2024 Is there a Tesla bubble? You bet. As of December 10, 2024, Tesla (Ticker: TSLA) is approaching an all-time high valuation, with a current share price of $401. The record closing price stands at $410, achieved on November 4, 2021. This gives the American electric car maker a market capitalization of $1.26 Trillion.  Tesla is trading at 110 times earnings. The average price to earnings ratio in the "traditional" automotive industry (excluding Tesla, and also excluding Chinese car makers) is about 6.7. That is, while almost all car makers in the world trade at 7 times earnings in average, Tesla is trading at 110, which is 15 times the industry average.  Major Automakers (Excluding Tesla and Chinese car makers) ranked by P/E: Subaru Corporation (Ticker: 7270.T): 12.0 Suzuki Motor Corporation (Ticker: 7269.T): 10.0 Toyota Motor Corporation (Ticker: TM): 9.70 Isuzu Motors Limited (Ticker: 7202.T): 9.0 Honda Motor Co., Ltd. (Ticker: HMC): 8.0 Mazda Motor Corporatio...
