ChatGPT Agent Mode: The latest game-changer is finally here

Creatix / July 30, 2025

For over five years, we have enjoyed occasional online support from a team in India that we initially found on Fiverr. From organizing calendars to managing emails and creating content, the team has been instrumental to our productivity. We find the time difference mutually convenient. They work their own hours and we receive high quality input throughout the day. But something is changing. Something easier and more powerful is coming along. Of course, we are referring to ChatGPT. They are using it too, so we may cut the middleman soon.

Now that ChatGPT has rolled out its new Agent feature, we are testing its capabilities with many of the to-dos that we used to outsource overseas. In some areas, the AI-assisted human team overseas is superior. In other areas, we are feeling that using ChatGPT directly is significantly superior. The Agent mode is anticipating needs and learning preferences at lightning speed. We get the input directly without filtering. There is no miscommunication or risk or misuse. Privacy feels significantly superior the less humans are involved. Is this where everybody is going? Are we all going full AI?

Capitalism and efficiency can be ruthless some times. Interesting times.

Welcome to the future. ChatGPT Agents, Personal AI Assistants Have Arrived

Imagine having a virtual team of specialists, each one tailored to specific tasks like planning trips, writing code, managing projects, or tutoring your child. That’s no longer science fiction. With today's launch of Agents in ChatGPT, AI just got personal and even more powerful.

What Are ChatGPT Agents?

Agents are specialized versions of ChatGPT designed to carry out specific goals, remember user preferences, and take actions on your behalf. Think of them as custom-built AI assistants trained to be experts in what you need—be it a travel planner, career coach, math tutor, or business analyst.

Each agent can be:

  • Pre-built by OpenAI or third parties, like an AI designed specifically for coding in Python or managing your calendar.

  • Custom-made by you, with your instructions, personality tweaks, and tool integrations.

These agents go beyond normal chats. They have memory, context, and even limited autonomy.

How Are Agents Different From Regular ChatGPT?

While regular ChatGPT answers your questions or helps in conversations, Agents are:

  • Goal-oriented: You can assign them tasks like “Help me launch my online store” or “Train me for job interviews.”

  • Autonomous (to a degree): Agents can follow multi-step processes and even ask follow-up questions without constant prompting.

  • Persistent: They remember your preferences and history (if memory is enabled), becoming more useful over time.

Examples:

  • Trip Planner Agent: Finds flights, suggests activities, and builds a complete itinerary based on your style and budget.

  • Study Coach Agent: Helps a student prepare for the SAT, tracks progress, and adapts based on performance.

  • Startup Advisor Agent: Analyzes your business idea, drafts pitch decks, and refines your business model.

Can I Build My Own Agent?

Yes—and it’s surprisingly easy.

OpenAI has rolled out a no-code interface where you can create your own Agent by:

  1. Giving it a name and goal

  2. Uploading files or tools it can use

  3. Providing instructions or setting its tone/personality

You can even share your Agent with others, or explore the Agent Store, a growing marketplace of helpful AI agents built by the community.

Why This Matters

Agents shift ChatGPT from being reactive to proactive. Instead of simply answering queries, it can now collaborate, organize, and execute tasks. It’s a step closer to truly personal AI.

Bottom Line

With Agents, ChatGPT isn’t just a super smart chatbot. It’s now a smart assistant or a fleet of intelligent assistants at your command. Whether you're looking to boost productivity, learn something new, or automate tedious tasks, Agents are here to help you get it done faster, smarter, and with a personal touch.

When will the Tesla bubble burst?

December 11, 2024 When will the Tesla bubble burst?  We don't know Fools rush in. It's impossible to know exactly when the Tesla bubble will finally burst. Unfortunately for us at Creatix, we began shorting Tesla too soon. We are down almost 40% on our position as of today. We are not fooling ourselves thinking that we were ever make money on the short position. We truly doubt that Tesla can go down 40% any time soon.  We would love to add to the short position, but it would exceed our $3,000 limit on the stupid bets that we do for fun. We're not Mr. Beast. We have a very limited budget for ridiculousness. We would love to short Tesla tomorrow morning at the ridiculous share price of $424. Tesla is trading at an incredible 116 times earnings, which gives Tesla a market capitalization of $1.32 Trillion. Elon Musk added today $13.4 billion to his fortune. Yes, $13 billion in one day. Yesterday, he had added $11 billion. Yes, that's $24 billion in 2 days.  Six months ago, ...

Will Tariffs Reduce the National Debt?

Creatix / June 30, 2025 The U.S. national debt has surpassed $34.7 trillion , and the cost of servicing that debt— just the interest payments—has soared to over $1 trillion annually as of mid-2025. This marks a historic shift: we now spend more just paying interest on the National debt than on defense, Medicare, or any single discretionary program. Economists warn that unless fiscal policy changes, interest costs will crowd out critical investments in infrastructure, education, and innovation, deepening the structural debt burden for future generations. From Osama to MAGA OBBA: the path to U.S. bankruptcy. Osama Bin Laden "succeeded" in putting us in a path to bankruptcy. The U.S. national debt began to increase dramatically after 9/11, marking a sharp departure from the budget surpluses of the late 1990s. In response to the terrorist attacks, the U.S. launched costly wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, while also implementing sweeping tax cuts under the Bush administration. These...

How TikTok can Artificially Spread Socialism in America?

Creatix / June 29, 2025 TikTok's Socialist Movement in New York City  In one of the most unexpected political turns in recent New York history, Zohran Mamdani , the democratic socialist Assemblymember from Queens, has defeated former Governor Andrew Cuomo in the Democratic primary for New York City mayor. While the general election remains to be decided in November of this year, Mamdani is now the clear frontrunner. His socialist victory signals not just a generational shift, but the rise of a new kind of political power: one fueled by TikTok , a Chinese-owned social media platform that has become Gen Z’s ideological training ground. From Astoria to Citywide Dominance Mamdani first rose to prominence as a bold and principled advocate for tenants’ rights, public transportation reform, and wealth redistribution in the State Assembly. But his stunning mayoral primary win wasn’t just about policy—it was about algorithmic delivery powered by Chinese media company. Mamdani didn’t r...
